Calverton Aquaculture Environmental Incubator

The scope for the Calverton Incubator project consisted of ground up construction of a 15,000 square foot single story facility housing both “wet” and “dry” research laboratories. The steel frame structure features a masonry and EIFS facade, EPDM rubber membrane roofing and a standing seam roof above the main entry vestibule. All electrical, plumbing as well as all utilities connections were part of the scope. The laboratories required clean room type HVAC
which can be controlled by remote access through a Building Management System. This undeveloped 3 acre wooded site also required installation of an entrance driveway, parking lot, complete drainage and septic systems and new electric, water and phone services.
